Canyon Runner is a premier sportfishing company providing coaching and concierge services, seminars, and charters. Their coaching services help more than 700 captains and crews, including over 400 yacht owners, navigate waters safely, plot trips, and maintain their boats.
Since 2010, Canyon Runner has been using marine telematics to provide customers with real-time location for the Canyon Runner’s own fleet (4 boats). However, the Canyon Runner Management Team could not see their own customers, relying on satellite phone calls and texts to help them navigate the water/weather and understand boat issues.
This proved very difficult and time consuming, and limited the growth of the customer base, as the Canyon Runner Fleet Managers could not afford to take on more members due to the time it took to service each one.
